    Lift off over Sydney harbour in a seaplane and fly north to Jonah’s Beach, one of Australia’s most exclusive ocean retreats.

    Since it first opened as a roadhouse in 1929, Jonah’s has put the prestigious enclave of Whale Beach on the international map. Famed for luxury, privacy and seclusion; Jonah’s counts Sir Lawrence Olivier, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Joan Collins, Mick Jagger, Jerry Hall, Bono, Rod Stewart, Justin Bieber and Lewis Hamilton as some of its guests.

    Enjoy a three-course gourmet lunch at Jonah’s famous restaurant. You will be offered contemporary Australian cuisine featuring exceptional Australian and international produce and an extensive wine list.

    As you treat your taste buds to Australia’s finest foods you will enjoy magnificent views over the expansive Pacific Ocean.

    To round off the experience you will have a delightful afternoon flight back to Rosebay including a Sydney harbour circuit in front of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House.

    To join the Jonah’s Beach By Seaplane From Sydney make your way to Rose Bay Seaplane Base, Lyne Park, Rose Bay (next to Catalina Restaurant). Do be sure to report at the meeting point 15 minutes before the start time to allow for the pre-flight briefing. You will be flying in a beautifully restored seaplane.

    Departing Sydney Harbour late morning your seaplane flight tracks north past Sydney's spectacular northern beaches before touching down in the expansive waterway of Pittwater. On the flight your expert pilot will provide an entertaining commentary about all the features you can see below. You will be met at the dock by Jonah's courtesy vehicle and transferred the short distance to the restaurant.

    Perched high on the edge of a cliff, enjoying dramatic views of Whale Beach and the expanse of the Pacific Ocean, Jonah's at Palm Beach is one of Australia's most prestigious ocean retreats. Something of a Sydney institution, Jonah's salubrious guest list has included Laurence Olivier, Anthony Hopkins, Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall.

    Jonah's offers modern Australian cuisine under the direction of an award-winning chef. Enjoy a mouth-watering three-course gourmet meal made from the best and freshest local produce. (Drinks are payable direct). As you savour the delicious meal you can admire the restaurant's 180-degree views of the Pacific Ocean.

    Enticing guests to leave such a stunning location is difficult, but the prospect of a glorious afternoon seaplane flight back to Rose Bay, encompassing a Sydney Harbour circuit in front of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House does it for most!

    Our supplier needs at least 2 people on the tour to be able to go ahead. In the unlikely event that less than this number book for your tour date we will offer you an alternative or a full refund.

    Flight can be cancelled due to weather and will be rescheduled for an alternative day.

    Our local partner operate two De Havilland Beaver six passenger aircraft, and one Cessna Caravan twelve passenger aircraft.
