The koala and kangaroo encounter is great!!

  • A great day out to remember
    By: Mr Richard Skinner

The Blue Mountains and Featherdale Park day trip was an excellent day out. Our coach driver and tour guide was very entertaining with his commentary on life in Australia and the ares we drove through. Our coach was extremely comfortable, and en route we enjoyed some very informative dvds about our destinations. First stop was the Aboriginal centre at Echo Point where we enjoyed a very good and informative show by some indigenous entertainers. Scenic World followed and this was a tremendous venue to see the sights of the Blue Mountains from high above, and down on the forest floor - the railway ride is superb! After a lunch stop at the lovely little town of Leura, we finished at Featherdale Wildlife Park with an opportunity to get up close to Koalas and Kangaroos as well as a variety of other animals. Altogether a great day.
